If you haven’t been watching 106 & Park lately, then you don’t know about “Blind Fury.” He has been undefeated in the show’s popular freestyle battles, hence the name, Freestyle Friday. Anyway, the point is, this rapper has been going in on every single one of his opponents and wins every single time! Never mine the fact that he’s blind, he GOES IN! Today’s battle was like the championships of all battles and once again, Blind Fury took the cake against his opponent “Moon” with 86.2% of the viewers vote. He won a check for $5,000 amongst many other prizes. Congratulations Blind Fury!

Everyone knows it is NOT cheap to live in the great city of New York. However, one woman has found a loop-hole! Felice lives in Manhattan’s Upper West Side about two blocks away from the subway and Central Park in her backyard. But here’s the catch: the apartment is only 90 Square Feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In an area where rent can average $3,600, Felice considers her 12×7 apartment a steal. The spot has snagged the record of ‘World’s Smallest Apartment’ by the World Records Academy.
I plan to move to NYC but no want, desire, nor need will make me stay in this tiny place, at least not for long! Would you live here? Leave a Comment!
What’s good y’all? I’m here to take anyone over the age of 25 way back. I’m talking 1990’s Bonita Applebum “You gotta put me on…” back! Took a bit of a break on the music but I’m back to hit you with some old school hip hop joints!
So, I have been soul searching lately and something told me to search “A Tribe Called Quest” in YouTube’s search bar. By doing so, I have found what I think is the most live playlist ever! There was some Digable Planets, Pharcyde, Gang Starr, Busta Ryhmes, and more. I was jammin’ for hours.
Anyway, here’s my top 5 throw-back joints from the late 80’s & 90’s. It’s super legit so hop on ’em quick! Don’t know if this is going to be a weekly occurrence but I will definitely be dropping in with some old school hip hop classics often.
Of course I have more favorites but, I want you explore and find throw backs of your own.
It’s the end of a long Tuesday and I am already daydreaming of the weekend. According to a couple of my party people sources, there are going to be some good performances this weekend in San Francisco. Also I got some info for some events happening on the East Coast as well!

Saturday, September 11th Too $hort will be at the Mezzanine in SF. Doors open at 9pm and it’s $35 for regular admission and $50 for VIP. It’s a little up there in the price range but, who knows, Too $hort may be worth the extra cash. Hit up http://www.mezzaninesf.com/calendar.asp for more info & to buy tickets!
Now for you Latin music lovers like myself, Bachata singer Prince Royce will be in town!
This Saturday he will be performing at Roccapulco. I think the doors open at 8pm but I honestly haven’t been able to find much info on this one so for sure hit Google up if your interested in knowing more.
